Soundpainting Interactive Conference #5 with Walter Thompson, Eric Chapelle, Angélique Cormier, Vincent Lê Quan

Created in 2016 by Walter Thompson and Angélique Cormier, this international gathering brings together Soundpainters and performers to share ideas, explore the latest developments in the Soundpainting language, and strengthen a vibrant community beyond the screen.

Participants will deepen their fluency through lectures, discussions, and a wide range of hands-on workshops. The workshops are led by highly advanced Soundpainters—including the language’s creator, Walter Thompson—who are both accomplished artists and experienced educators, ensuring a rich and inspiring learning experience. S.I.C. is a rare chance to exchange, play, perform, live-compose, and celebrate Soundpainting together.

This 5th edition will take place in Blois, France. The YET Ensemble team will host S.I.C. in a community center in the heart of Blois.
