Introduction to Soundpainting — Weekend Workshop with Angélique Cormier

Who is it for?

This workshop is for any adult with an artistic practice—amateur or professional—who wants to discover Soundpainting. Absolute beginners to Soundpainting are welcome, and anyone who has had a first taste is encouraged to come back to the basics. All artistic disciplines are welcome.

No prior Soundpainting or improvisation experience is required. We simply ask for at least an intermediate command of your own practice—and, most importantly, the desire to explore and play.

What we’ll do

We’ll learn and practice the foundations of Soundpainting.

Each session begins with collective improvisation games.

Our tools: voice, instrument, body, and space—and visual materials if visual artists are present.
