Join us for a three-day deep dive into the universal language of soundpainting—a dynamic and creative tool for your artistic or educational practice. Whether you're new to soundpainting or looking to refine your skills, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore its possibilities hands-on.
You’ll learn the basics of soundpainting gestures and how to use them in orchestral settings, all under the expert guidance of soundpainters Angélique Cormier, Johan Sabbe, and Walter Thompson. The members of the Safety Last Soundpainting Ensemble will also be there as inspiring, real-time examples.
The workshop concludes with a live presentation in the concert hall of Muziekcentrum De Bijloke.
This three-day experience is designed for professional artists—musicians, actors, visual artists, and dancers—as well as educators eager to expand their creative toolkit.
